Abstract
¿Cuál es el venturoso que después de haber prestado un libro haya tenido alguna vez la suerte, si la tuvo, de volverlo a sus anaqueles sin necesidad de reclamarlo? Sobre este aspecto del variado mundo de los libros cada quien tiene alguna experiencia que contar. Don Luis Villagómez nos dice que las suyas de este tipo se conjugan todas en tiempo pasado, ninguna en presente y mucho menos en futuro. Si un autor merece que se le lea, también merece que se le compre, solía decir algún político español a quien por lo visto no favorecieron mucho sus relaciones con los curiosos lectores sus amigos.
