Abstract
Rentang panjang kekuasaan kolonial di Indonesia antara lain direfleksikan lewat berbagai hasil budaya materi dengan ciri kolonial. Arkeologi sebagai studi yang mengkaji aspekaspek masa lalu melalui hasil budaya materi sudah melakukan berbagai kajian untuk merekonstruksi ragam aspek kehidupan masa kolonial di Indonesia. Kajian bangunan monumental seperti benteng maupun kajian keruangan seperti pola tata kota adalah aspek-aspek yang cukup medapat perhatian selama ini. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk melihat konstruksi budaya kolonial dengan sudut pandang berbeda melalui prangko sebagai artefak dalam konstruksi sejarah pos di Indonesia.
