Abstract
Este artículo moviliza las reflexiones de Hannah Arendt, Jacques Rancière y Claude Lefort, tres autores que en sus distancias pueden vincularse, para defender una noción radical de democracia de acuerdo con la cual el conflicto es constitutivo de ésta. Para argumentar esto último, el ensayo se propone mostrar (i) que el conflicto no es eliminable del espacio social, sino que emerge y se hace visible en acciones políticas confrontacionales; (ii) que es posible distinguir el conflicto político de una diversidad de formas de violencias, aunque eventualmente pueda estar atravesado por algunas de éstas; (iii) y que las acciones políticas cuestionan las fronteras existentes de lo común, moviéndose en una relación a la vez de condicionamiento y excedencia con respecto a las formas institucionales.
