Abstract
Il disegno nella disciplina urbanistica rappresenta lo strumento irrinunciabile ed indispensabile di rappresentazione e racconto degli aspetti morfologici, tipologici ed estetici della città. Allo stesso tempo, esso contiene elementi e spunti che anticipano i contenuti progettuali, perché in grado di mettere a sistema le informazioni in una visione allargata d’insieme, di avviare riflessioni, di suggerire percorsi di approfondimento e azione. Il disegno della rete degli spazi pubblici, o per meglio dire, il disegno delle sequenze urbane, è in grado di far emergere la spina dorsale portante del sistema urbano e di individuare le potenzialità di espansione e trasformazione al di fuori degli ambiti consolidati, divenendo quindi strumento per l’avvio di processi metodologicamente strutturati.
