Abstract

With the taxonomic data of the zooarchaeological studies some researchs have proposed specializating hunting behavior for the end Upper Palaeolitic times in reed deers (Cervus elaphus) and goats (Capra pyrenaica) in the Cantabric Cornice and rabits (Orictolagus cuniculus) in the Mediterranean. Althought we can think in this specializating hunting,we believe that some interpretations should to be revised, because many of then are made only in taxonomics data forget other analitic sciences as the taphonomy or the seasonality more resolutives. In this paper we are aply both analitic sciencies to the Solutrean site of the Ambosio Cave (Almería, Spain) and we saw how the interpretation of the site change with the aplication of this methods.
