Abstract
El artículo ofrece una innovadora metodología que se inserta en coordenadas no patriarcales, cosa que difiere cualitativamente de la mayoría de las lecturas existentes sobre el Popol Vuh. Se trata una cartografía que revela desde las primeras diosas, semidiosas, semimujeres y mujeres un proceso que va "desde la veneración a la explotación". Al hacerlo, se devela que ese proceso designa valores y matices análogos al proceso de degradación económico-social de la mujer en la historia. The article offers an innovative methodology using non patriarchal coordinates an interpretation that differs qualitatively from most of the current views of Popol Vuh. A cartography is traced that reveals the process of "veneration to exploitation" from the first goddesses, semigoddesses, semi-women to women. That process reflects the values and shades of weaning that are analogous to the historical process of woman's economic-social degradation.
