Totally implantable vascular access devices (TIVADs) are commonly used in conjunction with enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) for lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs). This case series describes potential complications associated with long-term TIVAD use, such as compromise of skin integrity, infection, or port failures.
