Abstract
Araştırmada; Samsun ili çevresinden temin edilen 150 adet süt numunesinde tiyosiyanat (SCN-) miktarları tesbit edilmiştir. Numuneler; karayolu ve fabrikalardan uzak bir bölgeden (1. bölge), karayolu kenarından (2. bölge) ve fabrikaların yoğun bulunduğu bölgeden (3. bölge) olmak üzere 3 ayrı bölgeden alınmışlardır. Sütlerin tiyosiyanat miktarları ortalama 9.51 ppm’dir. 1. Bölgede üretilen sütlerin ortalama tiyosiyanat miktarı, diğer bölgelerde üretilen sütlerin tiyosiyanat miktarından daha yüksek bulunmuştur. İneklerin yaşları ve laktasyon dönemlerinin tiyosiyanat miktarlarını çok düşük düzeyde etkilediği tesbit edilmiştir.
