Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan pop up book terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas VIII pada aspek representasi matematis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 5 Pati. Dari populasi tersebut, terambil dua kelas sampel yakni kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan tes. Metode analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji proporsi, dan uji kesamaan dua proporsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model CORE berbantuan pop up book efektif terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas VIII pada aspek representasi matematis. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh (1) kemampuan siswa pada aspek representasi matematis yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model CORE berbantuan pop up book dapat mencapai ketuntasan pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII; (2) persentase ketuntasan kemampuan siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model CORE berbantuan pop up book pada aspek representasi matematis lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model TPS. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu pada saat penelitian, jumlah pop up book yang digunakan terbatas, untuk itu perlu ditambah lagi jumlahnya supaya hasilnya lebih maksimal
