Abstract
"El periodista nace, no se hace. Esta parece ser la gran verdad para aquellos jóvenes que quieran cubrir el fútbol, la natación o el tenis. De todas maneras, en América Latina son prácticamente inexistentes las Facultas o Escuelas de Comunicación en donde puedan "hacerse" los periodistas deportivos. Argentina es una excepción". Plantea las razones para estudiar periodismo, el periodismo deportivo, las escuelas de periodismo deportivo, el pensum de estudio, los aspirantes al ingreso, los docentes,el Taller Escuela y Agencia DEPOR-TEA (Taller, Escuela y Agencia de Noticias deportivas), Escuela de periodismo en Argentina creada en 1986 y cuya innovadora manera de enseñar y estudiar es única, pues pretende dar respuestas con el trabajo práctico de sus alumnos en su taller y agencia noticiosa.
