Abstract
Entrevista realizada por Iolanda Martínez Suárez, en la que Alicia H. Puleo habla de que en la sociedad capitalista occidental de hoy en día, en la que los medios no dejan de estimular nuestro deseo d consumir y de disfrutar –tanto de objetos materiales como de nuestros cuerpos– y crean la falsa ilusión de que se ha conseguido la libertad absoluta para todo el mundo, tenemos que intentar conservar el espíritu crítico. En esos tiempos de una supuesta libertad sexual, las mujeres todavía tienen que luchar por ser reconocidas como personas. Alicia H. Puleo, que se autodefine como “ecofeminista e ilustrada”, propone que adoptemos una actitud que combina la mesura y la conciencia de una autonomía feminista. En esta entrevista se habla e mujeres y educación, además de los roles de género y la dominación masculina (desde la ciencia) sobre el cuerpo de la mujer. Puleo sugiere que aprovechemos tanto los medios tradicionales como las posibilidades que la nueva tecnología nos ofrece para luchar contra los estereotipos.
