Abstract
The penitentiary psychology is based on several important problems as convict’s personality investigation, character drawing; establishing the psychological elements and the social elements that influence certain conditions; try to establish several individual programmes that may socialize the convicts. The penitentiary system follows these next steps: the penitentiary space organization try to offer the convicts a good living, work, rest as they deserve these features behind bars, try to offer them an instructive programme, try to focus their attention on the social method; involving the third instance that watches the control and the guardianship of the penitentiary.
