Abstract
El Plan Comunal de Desarrollo, en su lineamiento estratégico de sustentabilidad, aspira al logro de una ciudad que trabaje por resguardar la salud y calidad de vida de las personas y la existencia patrimonial de los recursos naturales y urbanos; de modo tal, de garantizar un medio ambiente libre de contaminación y, la conservación y uso pleno del patrimonio ambiental y cultural. Esto, sin afectar las oportunidades de las generaciones futuras para disfrutar de una ciudad sustentable en el tiempo.
