Abstract
Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa bibliográfica que buscou apreender como as políticas de avaliação institucional repercutem no trabalho dos professores da educação superior em estudos publicados entre 1996-2013. A metodologia foi traçada a partir de uma busca em periódicos educacionais, comunicações da Anped, Teses e Dissertações. Fundamenta-se em Dias Sobrinho (2002, 2003), Sguissardi (2009, 2011, 2014), Freitas (2012) e Afonso (2012). Conclui-se que a avaliação institucional, pautada nos resultados do Enade, tem priorizado os aspectos formais em detrimento dos aspectos formativos e, por isso, tende a esgotar seu potencial de estimular a melhoria acadêmica nas IES. Tem também aumentado a tensão junto aos docentes por melhores resultados no hanking, e definido os currículos dos cursos de modo a adequá-los à prova do Enade.
