Abstract
We have participated ornithological research in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, on the island Grindul Lupilor. Our main goal was to contribute to the investigation of the species constitution of the locally breeding and migrating passerines, furthermore to determine the importance of the location in bird migration asstopover and refuelling site. In frame of this, we have carried out bird ringing in August 2004, 2005 and 2006. The seasons covered were the following ones: 6 - 14 August in 2004, 13 - 20 August in 2005, and 31 July - 11 August in 2006. In our present article we introduce and analyse the results of this 3-years study period.
