Abstract
Los saltos son la forma natural de vencer los obstáculos y se caracterizan por esfuerzos musculares máximos en un tiempo corto. Estos perfeccionan la destreza de los deportistas en dominar su cuerpo y controlar los esfuerzos, y desarrollan: la fuerza, la rapidez, la agilidad y la valentía. Esta gran familia se divide en dos grupos: los saltos verticales y los horizontales, encontrándose el Salto con Pértiga en el primer grupo.
