Abstract
Esta pesquisa buscou, através da utilização das Geotecnologias, analisar a heterogênea distribuição de imagens de satélite de alta resolução espacial, disponibilizados pelo Software Google Earth, no território da região sul do Brasil. Embasados na metodologia proposta por Milton Santos, com ênfase nas categorias de territórios luminosos e territórios opacos, buscamos identificar os territórios luminosos e opacos na região sul do país.
