Abstract
This article presents a panorama about global teaching in contemporary education, as a modern pedagogical tendency, which is a result of the pedagogic reaction in front of the reduction or fragmented approach to teaching. It is about global, total or holistic teaching as a philosophy and as learning approach in the development of the individual, which emerged in the decade of 1980.
