Abstract
After a reevaluation of the Argentinean amphibians considered as "Inadequately Known", 18 taxa remain in that category, four are considered as "Not Threatened", four as "Vulnerable", four are excluded from the Argentinean batrachofauna and seven do not fit in any of the established categories, and are considered as taxa that need special attention. Categories follow those of Reca et al. (1994), with the modifications proposed by Lavilla et al. (2000).
