Abstract

L’articolo nasce a margine della nuova edizione commentata, con testo criticamente rivisto, della Vita nuova di Dante nell’àmbito della «Nuova Edizione Commentata delle Opere di Dante» (vd. Roma, Salerno Editrice, 2015). Viene spiegato in che misura il codice Chigiano L VIII 305 della Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana (siglato K) è stato utilizzato come manoscritto di riferimento per le varianti di forma. A partire dal caso specifico viene poi proposta una riflessione sulla restituzione formale degli antichi testi a tradizione plurima e una discussione sui criteri editoriali, tra conservazione e leggibilità. 

The article comes on the sidelines of the new annotated edition with critically reviewed text of the Vita Nuova by Dante, in the scope of the «Nuova Edizione Commentata delle Opere di Dante» (see Roma, Salerno Editrice, 2015). The author explains how the code Chigiano L VIII 305 of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana (signed K) was used as a reference manuscript for the formal variants. From the specific example the author proposes a reflection on the formal restituition of the plural tradition ancient texts and a discussion on the editorial criteria, between conservation and readability.
