Abstract
مقاله مروری حاضر تومور پیندبورگ یا Calcifying Epithelial Odontogenic Tumor که به اختصار CEOT نوشته می شود و بر مبنای 210 مقاله موجود در کلیه انتشارات منتشر شده به زبان انگلیسی است. از این تعداد 193 مقاله داخل استخوانی و 17 مورد آن خارج استخوانی است. این تومور یک نئوپلاسم خوش خیم نادر است که1% کل تومورهای ادنتوژنیک را تشکیل میدهد. 95% آن داخل استخوانی و 5% آن در خارج استخوان می باشد. منشاً آن از اپی تلیوم ادنتوژنیک می باشد. جایگاه آن در فک پایین و در ناحیه پرمولر و مولرها می باشد.این تومور رشد بطئی داشته و موضعی رشد مینماید. میانگین سن CEOTداخل و خارج استخوانی به ترتیب 39 و 34 سال می باشد. CEOTتنوع جنسی یکسان دارد و نسبت ابتلاء ماندیبول به ماگزیلا، 3 به 1 است.توافق اکثریت مؤلفین به داشتن منشاء از دنتال لامینا یا بقایای آن میباشد.
