Abstract
El claustro pleno de 28 de agosto de 1631 recibía la noticia de que el maestro Gonzalo Correas, recientemente fallecido, legaba su nutrida biblioteca de humanidades a la Universidad de Salamanca. El hecho revestía considerable importancia por la calidad del fondo en materias técnicas de la especialidad, y por cuanto la donación se producía en un momento de franco declive en la preocupación por acrecentar la Librería universitaria. Ello parece justificar que le dediquemos este breve apunte.
