Abstract
El 13 de febrero de 1822 las Cortes Españolas convinieron en despachar nuevos comisionados a América, con el objeto de lograr la reintegración a la Corona de las colonias disidentes. Para el Nuevo Reino de Granada y Venezuela se confirmaron los nombramientos de Juan Barry y José Sartorio, respectivamente; parlamentarios enviados a América al establecerse la monarquía constitucional después de la revolución de Riego en 1820.
