Abstract
Una especie nueva de Ericaceae (Vaccinieae) del Valle del Cauca (Colombia), Themistoclesia diazii, es descrita, ilustrada y discutida. Esta especie nueva tiene una morfología floral peculiar que no se ha observado en otros miembros del género. Hasta la fecha, esta especie es muy rara y sólo se conoce de los parches de bosque montano que rodean plantaciones de té.
