Abstract
José Martí amó las ciencias y defendió la necesidad de una cultura integral. Para el héroe nacional de Cuba, la cultura fue un concepto abarcador de lo artístico y literario y de lo científico y técnico. Sin términos medios ni ambigüedades. El autor se adentra en la concepción de este poeta mayor de Hispanoamérica, sobre la cultura y la ciencia. Martí decía cultura siempre se escribirá con la C de las ciencias.
