Abstract
Koku ve gemi soğuk odaları (ambarları) konstrüksiyonları arasındaki ilgiler konusu; alışagelmiş bulunan; gemi soğuk ambarlarında taşınan yükten ileri gelen koku, anlamını ifade eden konu değildir. Biz burada, kara soğutma tesislerinde de rastlanan, fakat özellikle gemi soğuk ambarlarında daha bariz olan; 1) Gemi ambarları yapısından doğan koku, 2) Taşınan yükten gemi soğuk ambarlarına intikal eden koku konularını eleştirmekte, bunların nedenlerini ve giderme çarelerini ortaya koymaktayız.
