Abstract
O presente estudo objetiva compreender como as estratégias de gestão sustentável se relacionam com o desempenho exportador em uma empresa industrial de móveis planejados. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como qualitativa e adotou como método o estudo de caso. As estratégias sustentáveis foram analisadas com base nos modelos de Placet, Anderson, Fowler (2005) e Lacy et al. (2010), buscando-se compreender aspectos referentes a gestão ambiental, a responsabilidade social e a integração da sustentabilidade na estratégia empresarial. O desempenho exportador foi analisado a partir dos estudos de Papadopoulos e Martín (2010) que analisam o desempenho por meio da experiência internacional e das dimensões estratégica e econômica. Os principais resultados revelaram que a empresa possui preocupações com o meio ambiente, procurando utilizar insumos mais sustentáveis e investindo em inovação para melhorar seus processos.
