Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Gıda Tüzüğüne göre sentetik boya katılmasına izin verilmeyen tereyağlarında, özellikle aromatik azo yapısındaki bazı sentetik boyaların varlığı araştırılmıştır. Sonuçta 30 tereyağ örneğinin 5’inde p-dimetilaminoazo benzen olmak üzere, gıdalarda kullanılması yasaklanmış olan boyanın varlığı saptanmıştır. Literatür bilgisine dayalı olarak bu boyanın sağlığa zararlı etkileri tartışılmıştır.
