Abstract
El presente artículo expone los principales determinantes que se producenentre la cultura, entendida como una manifestación artística, y el desarrolloeconómico regional, en un doble sentido: por un lado, cuáles son los impactosde las actividades culturales sobre el desarrollo económico de un enclave o unterritorio a corto y a largo plazo; y, por otro y no menos importante, cómo influyeel crecimiento económico en la evolución y transformación del sector cultural. Seanaliza también la lógica espacial de las actividades culturales y artísticas, queirremediablemente es hacia la concentración, por mucho que entendamos que eltalento o el patrimonio cultural estén inicialmente equidistribuidos. Todos estosanálisis se enmarcan en el ámbito de la economía de la cultura, cuya delimitaciónanalítica como disciplina científica se aborda al inicio del artículo.
