Abstract
Este artigo tem a finalidade de organizar um quadro teórico, conceitual e empírico sobre os Arranjos Produtivos Locais (APLs) no Brasil. Desse modo, essa investigação se baseou em um levantamento bibliográfico e documental que nos possibilita analisar as diversas referências científicas para a constituição do conceito, as questões políticas envolvidas nas estratégias de fomento ao desenvolvimento territorial e os aspectos limitadores subjacentes ao quadro de ações pautado nos chamados APLs.
