Abstract
El objetivo principal de este artículo es realizar una aproximación descriptiva y crítica a la producción cinematográfica queer dirigida por mujeres en España hasta nuestros días desde un intento de deconstrucción de la mirada hegemónica masculina imperante. Para ello, se presenta inicialmente una (re)aproximación teórica a algunos de los conceptos interdisciplinares clave sobre los que se sentaron las bases del cine queer en los sesenta con el fin de realizar a continuación un análisis cronológico de las diferentes visiones que sobre lo queer, es decir, sobre la libertad sexual y de género, se han representado en los seis únicos largometrajes queer producidos por mujeres en España hasta el año 2014: The meeting of two Queens (1991), Costa Brava (1995), Sevigné (2004), Amor de hombre (1997), El calentito (2005) y A mi madre le gustan las mujeres (2001).
