Abstract
This article describes the research aimed at improving the tungsten carbide durability with the help of spark alloying methods, arc welding and laser processing. The paper presents the formation of the alloyed layer thickness of more than 1400 mm with gradient transition properties. The parameters of the islet coating formation for durability improvement by laser processing are represented.
