Abstract
The article aims to illuminate an unknown episode of the history of Novorosiiskyi University and its Library dealing with the existence of the Georgian books collection created and used by the Georgian students and professors residing in Odesa at the end of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century. The books were stored in separate bookcases of the University Library without making its department. The existence of an ethnically oriented books in the University Library is presented as a unique fact of its history.
