Abstract
ABSTRACT Among the benign tumors of the vulva, we highlight the soft fibroma. It is a conjunctival tumor, with a variable growth that may reach giant dimensions. Its frequency is described 1:9000-6:23000. Patient, 25 years old, female, white, reported the presence of two tumors in her external genitalia, growing a few months ago. Gynecological examination revealed large tumor, mobile, painless during its review of consistency (soft and elastic), with small pedicle, located in the upper 1/3 of the vulvar lips and big, adjacent to this tumor had another similar smaller volume. The surgical excision was the chosen. The histopathologic diagnosis was fibroma of the vulva E. The patient was reevaluated after 15 days, observing good surgical outcome. Conclusions: This case was presented due to the rarity of the condition and the large size attained by the tumor. Currently surgeries are more precocious than before, and thus the tumors do not reach bigger and grotesque dimensions, as presented.
