Abstract
Através de histórias de vida de filhas cuidadoras de idosos dependentes, busca-se dar visibilidade para estas mulheres. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, o qual ilustra sentimentos como o impacto inicial do tornar-se cuidadora, a culpa, a anulação delas próprias através de trechos das falas destas cuidadoras. Este estudo nos leva para um questionamento do cuidador em nossa sociedade.
