Abstract

Estudiamos los restos asignables a época tardoantigua (s. V-VIII) del yacimiento conocido como Los Castejones, localizado frente a Calatañazor. Se detecta ocupación durante el siglo IV hasta –al menos- mediados del siglo V. La identificación del yacimiento con la antigua Voluce o su correspondiente mansio, ha suscitado polémica desde antiguo. A partir del correcto reconocimiento de la vía se puede mantener la asociación entre dicho topónimo y los restos en Los Castejones.

We study the late antiquity remains (s. V-VIII) of the site known as The Castejones, which is located in front of Calatañazor. The site was occupied form the fourth century to mid-fifth century. The identification of the site with the antique Voluce, or its correspondent mansion, has been controversial since ancient times. The correct recognition of the Roman road has allowed associate the name of the place with Los Castejones.

ندرس في هذا البحث البقايا الأثرية العائدة إلى العصر القديم المتأخر (القرنين الخامس إلى الثامن الميلاديين) في الموقع المعروف باسم "لوس كاستيخونيس"، الواقع قبالة "كالاتانياثور". حيث رُصد استيطان بشري خلال القرن الرابع وحتى منتصف القرن الخامس على الأقل. وقد أثار تحديد هوية الموقع ومطابقته بمدينة فولوكي (Voluce) القديمة أو محطة النزول (mansio) المقابلة لها جدلاً منذ أمد بعيد. وانطلاقاً من التحديد الدقيق لمسار الطريق الروماني، يمكن الإبقاء على الربط بين اسم هذا الموضع وتلك البقايا في لوس كاستيخونيس.

ندرس بقايا العصر القديم المتأخر (القرون 5-8م) في الموقع المعروف باسم "لوس كاستيخونيس"، والواقع في مواجهة "كالاتانياثور". كان الموقع مأهولاً بالسكان منذ القرن الرابع حتى منتصف القرن الخامس. وقد أثار تحديد هوية الموقع ومطابقته بـ فولوكي القديمة، أو محطتها المقابلة، جدلاً منذ العصور القديمة. وقد أتاح التحديد الصحيح لمسار الطريق الروماني ربط اسم ذلك الموضع بموقع "لوس كاستيخونيس".
