Abstract
The paper considers the process of the development of scientific and educational facilities in the context of historic knowledge institutionalization in Asian Russia of pre-Soviet period for the first time in the domestic historiography. The article attempts to give integrated assessment and detect the ratio of the state and public initiative in the processes of historic knowledge institutionalization within the framework of the historic education and science development, determine their role and place in this sphere.
