Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan LKS pada materi pokok bentuk aljabar melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan LKS lebih baik dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model konvensional pada materi pokok bentuk aljabar, persentase siswa yang hasil belajarnya mencapai KKM pada kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan LKS pada materi pokok bentuk aljabar melebihi 80%, dan persentase siswa yang hasil belajarnya mencapai KKM pada kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan LKS lebih besar dari persentase siswa yang hasil belajarnya mencapai KKM pada kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi pokok bentuk aljabar. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kranggan. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berbantuan lembar kegiatan siswa lebih efektif dari pada model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi pokok bentuk aljabar kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Kranggan.
