Abstract
The global crisis, with varying degrees of intensity, affects the operational activity and economic efficiency of enterprises. The purpose of this paper is to analyze operational and economic efficiency of the largest companies engaged in stone quarrying in Poland in the years 2008–2010. The study uses data from the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland „Monitor Polski B”.
