Abstract
A simple and high yielding method for the synthesis of novel benzophenone derivatives has been developed starting from ethyl(4-aroylaroxy)acetates. Confirmation for the structures of the newly synthesized compounds was proved by their physical, analytical and spectral data (IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS).
