Abstract
A partir de una reflexión acerca de los sentidos contradictorios del concepto de canon literario, este trabajo entrega una visión de la polémica que los intentos de revisión y reformulación del canon e historia literaria de los Estados Unidos han suscitado en círculos intelectuales de ese país durante la última década.   From a reflection on the contradictory feelings of the concept of literary canon, this work presents a look at the polemic which the attempts at revision and reformulation of the canon and literary history of the United States has raised in that country's intellectual circles during the last decade.
