Abstract
The article provides a retrospective analysis of the linguists’ views on the technical term, and discusses linguistic means of expression, used in the “railroad” sublanguage within axiological linguistics. Each artificially created artefact is the result of appraising and intellectual human activity and as a product of this activity reflects the value – fragment of the technical picture of the world.
