Abstract
El prolongado proceso de restauración de este monasterio del municipio de Sástago (Zaragoza) ha permitido desvelar y recuperar para uso público de museo y hospedería sus dependencias. El estado primigenio de muchas de ellas convierte a este cenobio cisterciense en un extraordinario botón de muestra de la vida monacal con un alto valor didáctico. Esta vasta obra constituye un ejemplo de encomiable esfuerzo y persistencia tanto del arquitecto restaurador como de la Administración autonómica responsable del mismo que, de manera resuelta, han dirigido respectivamente su capacidad y recursos a la compleja restauración de esta enseña de su pasado.
