Abstract
The article analyzes the problems of gender inequality and its performance assessment used in the world. The author analyzes the development trends of political, economic and social life as well as the typical manifestations of the problem at all levels of government – municipal, state, federal. In terms of gender inequality in the dynamics it can be judged on the development of society, and that is important –it was reflected in the concepts – development of mankindon the millennium, strategic development of Russia, its regions and municipalities.
