Abstract
Endonezya'da kütüphaneciliğin kurumsallaşma süreci geçtiğimiz yüzyılın ikinci yarısından sonra başlamıştır. Üniversitelerde kütüphanecilik eğitimine başlanması, kütüphane derneğinin ve Endonezya Milli Kütüphanesi 'nin kurulması bu dönem içinde yaşanan gelişmelerden bazılarıdır. Özellikle son yıllarda gelişimine sağladığı katkılardan dolayı Milli Kütüphane 'nin Endonezya kütüphaneciliğinde önemli bir yeri vardır. Bu çalışmada kısaca Endonezya'da kütüphaneciliğin kurumsallaşması sürecinde yer alan önemli evrelere değinildikten sonra, Endonezya Milli Kütüphanesi 'nin gelişimi ve kurumsal özellikleri hakkında bilgi verilmektedir.
