Abstract
El trabajo disecciona parte de las tensiones generadas (luchas de poder) entre Hugo Chávez y los medios de comunicación venezolanos en varias coyunturas críticas, vislumbrando la polarización como praxis mass mediática. El análisis concluye con una propuesta sobre los tres tipos de relación que encierra el dilemático accionar del dualismo medios –poder político.
