Abstract
Puede afirmarse que en Argentina existe una verdadera tradición novelística. Basta detenerse un poco en la nueva narrativa y observar cómo en los últimos novelistas se pueden encontrar preocupaciones que fueron comunes a los narradores del cuarenta, o a los del veinte, y que estos (los nuevos), han desarrollado mejor, han completado, podría decirse. Esta relación, este conocimiento que los escritores de hoy tienen de los de ayer (la conciencia del pasado, su conocimiento, y cabal valoración) es lo que da sentido y configura una tradición.
