Abstract
É relatado um caso de meningencefalite por fungos do gênero Cândida em paciente adulto, com evolução de 11 dias até o óbito. O diagnóstico foi feito mediante necrópsia, sendo verificada septicemia a Cândida, com comprometimento neurológico secundário.
