Abstract
El autor estudia la situación del conocimiento del arte prehistórico que la investigación del País vasco ha generado a lo largo de las dos últimas decadas. Atiende especialmente a la utilización de una metodología adecuada y actualizada, a la forma de su utilización y a los resultados que de ella se derivan. El análisis pone especial énfasis en el uso del método formal y las conclusiones a que la utilización de los métodos ha permitido llegar en este momento.
