Abstract
Los trabajos académicos que aquí se reúnen son resultado de las IX Jornadas Patagónicas de Geografía (JPG) denominadas “50 años de la Geografía en Santa Cruz: 1963-2013” llevadas a cabo, en marzo de 2014 en el Campus de la Unidad Académica Río Gallegos de la Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia Austral en la ciudad de Río Gallegos. Las mismas fueron organizadas por docentes, investigadores y alumnos de la Escuela de Geografía, Ordenamiento del Territorio y Geoprocesamiento (EGOTyG).
